What We Love About the Color Orange Gracing Our Fall Tabletop

In the fall, the color orange brings up images of falling leaves, pumpkins, Halloween (when paired with black), and Thanksgiving. It represents the changing seasons and is the bridge color between the heat of summer and the cold of winter.  No wonder it’s the color of choice for decorating our fall tables.

(Did you know…..Each year Americans consume enough Brach’s Candy Corn that if laid end to end, would circle the earth 4.25 times? These too can make a whimsical centerpiece…)
Here are a few ideas for inspiration creating your fall table:
Orange Centerpiece From marthastewart.com, “elevate your next occasion with a centerpiece inspired by the harvest season. A quick trip to the market yielded this fall centerpiece, an informal arrangement of kumquats, squashes, and a bell pepper in a ceramic compote. Use whatever orange fruits and vegetables you find, such as baby pumpkins, carrots, persimmons, and, of course, oranges.”
From Pinterest: A vase filled with orange fall leaves can give height, and pumpkins, gourds, votives or flowers can add to this centerpiece!
